ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department has two education programs that Public Relations and Promotion program, as primary (day) and Media and Communication program, as distance education.
The vacancy of this program is 160 students, 60 for primary (day) in Public Relations and Promotion program, and 100 for distance education in Media and Communication program.
The aim of this program is that training of a qualified personal who had active communication practices, followed new trends and innovations, educated on public relations, advertisement, marketing, promotion and branding in order to increasing of the market share, promoting of products and services produced by all business firms and social institutions, and recognized all newly marketing methods in over the world that reached rapidly by the consumers.
- The students from this department can be employed at the unit of communication, press and public relation in business or social and public or private institutions. In addition, they can be worked as marketing staff, market manager and salesman at this area, as well as at advertisement and public relations agencies, newspapers, magazines, radio and televisions, and printing and graphic agencies. The students can also continue to education by the examination (ÖSYM) to Visual Communication Design, Public Relations, Advertisement and Communication Science etc. programs of the faculties.
