ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The department has three education programs that two Computer Programming as primary (day) and secondary (evening) and one distance education program. The education time of the program is two years and the language is in Turkish.

Total capacity of the program is for 150 students (55 for day, 45 for evening and 50 distance education program).

The program has two laboratories that including Programming Lab with 40 computers as I5 cpu and Think-Line Lab with one main server computer and 40 terminals.

The aim of the program is that making the base software algorithms by using current software languages, improving the software and web pages, and training of technical staff that specified on computer programming in order to establish computer systems and continue the systems for the firms.

The graduated students can be work as a computer programmer, system supporter, computer trainer etc. in public or private companies regarding with computer industry. They can continue to training with succeeding examination system (ÖSYM) to Computer, Physic, Software and Industrial Engineering of the universities.
