ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The department consists of only Greenhousing Program as primary (day) education.

Total capacity of the program is for 30 students.

Theoretical classes of the program are carried in SVS building and the practical classes in greenhouses and laboratories of Agriculture Faculty in the university.

The aim of this program is that training of quality technicians who has knowledge and practice on Greenhousing, important area in agriculture of Turkey.

The graduated students from this department can work at agricultural extension or research services of the governmental institutions, public authorities, private firms or operations related with greenhouse production, particularly vegetable, ornamental plants and landscaping. These can also continue to Agriculture Faculty for complementation of undergraduate education, after succeed from special examination system (ÖSYM).
